Report: DORSET COUNTY CLOSED CHAMPIONSHIP 2017
The Dorset Squash County Closed Championships took place last weekend at Dorchester TSC.
A fantastic weekend of Squash played in a great atmosphere.
There were 43 entries, 65 scheduled matches and a total of 231 games played over 4 categories.
Results
- Men’s – Clive Ewins made this his 20th win against Weymouth’s Tony Webb 11/6 11/6 11/8
- Plate winner Adam Aldridge beat Andy Budgen 11/8 11/7 11/3
- Men’s B this was a hard fought final between Paul Cooper & Ben Lever of Dorchester 11/5 8/11 11/7 5/11 11/8
- The B plate final saw Matt Collimore beat Oliver Moffat of Dorchester 11/9 12/10 14/12
- The Lades final saw Gemma Barber beat Sharnine Coleman 7/11 11/2 12/10 11/6 Gemma Barber last won the title back in 2009!
- The Men’s O55’s saw Gary Biles being taken all the way by Giles Watts 9/11 11/7 5/11 11/4 11/4
