Posted 25 July - ES&R JULY 2010 COUNCIL MEETING
The minutes and notes from the ES&R Council Meeting held in July have beem posted on the website (go to UPDATES/INFO and select the document from the NEWSLETTERS/ENGLAND SQUASH section). This has important news about PAR scoring (at inter county level) and the use of Blue/Black balls for Racketball.

Posted 17 May - GOLFERS WANTED FOR DS&R GOLF DAY
Martin Greenslade (Bournemouth Squash Club) is organising a charity golf day where all money raised will be going to Junior Squash Development in Dorset. The date is Sunday 18th July at the Dudsbury Golf Club. Full details are in the UPDATES/INFO section or click the link below.

Posted 17 May - DS&R WINTER CUP FINALS - RESULTS, REPORT & PHOTOS
The Winter Cup Finals were held at The West Hants Club on 15th May, headline results below, full report and photos are on the website see the UPDATES/INFO section or click the link below.

  • Racketball - West Hants lost to The Police - 1-3
  • Div 2/3 - BSC 4 beat Weymouth 1 - 5-0
  • Div 3/4 - Esporta beat Dorchester 3 - 4-1
  • Div 6 - Two Riversmeet 5 lost to Ferndown 4 - 2-3
  • Ladies - West Hants beat Hamworthy - 5-0
  • Div 1 - West Hants 1 beat BSC 1 - 4-1

Posted 11 May - DORSET WELL REPRESENTED IN THE RACKETBALL NATIONALS
Dorset were well represented in the Dunlop National Racketball Championships with Bev Vatcher regaining her title and (unfortunately) Roger Pinney losing his. Results and info in the Racketball section.

Posted 26 April - JUNIOR REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
Four girls from Dorset were selected to represent the South West for the Regional Team Championships. Lara Small, Justine Leadbetter, Kirsty Small and Elise Bailey did extremely well and the South West team had a fantastic result coming second overall across all the age groups. DORSET ARE NATIONAL RACKETBALL CHAMPIONS !!!!

The Dorset team won the National Racketball Inter County Championship after beating Devon 3-2 in the final on Sunday. The team did fantastically well to beat Yorkshire in the semi-final and then come back from 2 strings down to beat Devon in final. Congratulations to all the squad who took part in the finals at the Bexley Club in Kent.
