Competition (league and cup) management for clubs
Clubs can enter teams into competitions that are run through the system. Competitions include leagues and cups. Shown below are the instructions for managing your club's participation in competitions.
To manage your club's competition participation:
- Log onto your club
- In the club menu select 'Leagues & Clubs'
To apply to join a league or cup:
- In the submenu click on 'Competition applications'
- Select the competition you wish to apply to
- Enter the number of teams you wish to enter
- Click on 'Apply to join competition'
- You may also delete applications after you make them. Please read the on-screen instructions for details
- If you applied to a competition in a previous season an automatic entry may be made for your club in the next season. You will need to confirm the entry via the 'Compeition applications' section. See on-screen instructions for details
To assign team captains
- Make sure that your team captains are listed as officials of the club
- In the 'Leagues & Clubs' submenu, select the league you wish to assign team captains for
- In the left menu click on the team you wish to assign the team captain for
- At the top of the main area is a drop down which lists all the club officials
- Select the team captain and click on 'Change Captain'
To edit fixture dates (when allowed)
- In the 'Leagues & Clubs' submenu, select the league you wish to edit fixture dates for
- In the left menu click on the team you wish to edit dates for
- The top list shows your home matches with editable dates and times
- Write in the dates (dd-mm-yyyy format) and start times (hh:mm 24hr format)
- Click on 'Update fixtures'
To enter league results:
- In the 'Leagues & Clubs' submenu, select the league you wish to enter results for
- In the left menu click on the team you wish to enter results for
- In the fixture listings, locate the fixture that you have results for (note that you may be restricted to only entering home results)
- Click on 'Edit' in the results column for that fixture
- In the top of the main area, select the players that played the fixture, using the drop downs. The players are listed from your club's membership and the opponent's membership. If players are missing from your list you should go to your membership section and add them, then come back. If the players are missing from your opponent's drop downs, simply leave them blank.
- Click on 'Update Players' to save your player selection
- All of the matches for the fixture will be listed down the page, below the players' names. Each match shows the players (if they had been entered above), the game scores and a couple of concede functions.
- Enter the game scores in the fields provided.
- If a game was not played, leave it as 0 - 0
- If a match was conceded click on 'Concede home' if the home side conceded, or 'Concede away' if the away side conceded. This enters 99 - 0 in the game scores which is a code for the system so that it knows the game was actually conceded.
- If a whole fixture was conceded, concede each match appropriately and then the system will understand that the whole fixture was conceded.
- Click on 'Update Results' to save the results
