Throughout the afternoon there was strong support for all teams and the final matches in the Division 1 final was watch by 80 spectators.

A raffle was held during the event and this raised £93 to help support the Dorset Junior squash teams as they compete in inter counties competition throughout the season. Thanks are due to the various people who donated prizes and Carolyn Boyd who organised the raffle.

At the end of the presentations the captain of the West Hants 1 Squash team, Andy Corben thanked the organiser, Ian Chislett-Bruce for running the event so successfully and for the work in his role as Dorset Squash League and Cup Coordinator.  Andy also thanks Gary and Janet Biles for all the work they undertake on behalf of Dorset Squash and Racketball including the Dorset Squash & Racketball website, organising the Juniors events and more recently the Academy that is being established by Janet to develop the younger players in the County to ensure that Squash and Racketball continue to provide an important part of the sport scene in the County.

Postscript - Just to say a big thank-you (NOT!) to the idiot who kept sticking up two fingers while I was taking the photos, I am sure the teams appreciated your very childish efforts! - Gary Biles
